YOU ARE FREE!

Do not forget for an instant of a day in your life that you are free! That freedom is the most miraculous part of your existence. That freedom has allowed you to establish exactly what you are today and will allow you to establish exactly what you will be tomorrow. That freedom must allow you to obtain what to you is evil as well as good, otherwise it would not be complete freedom. The very essence of man’s existence is a determination of what constitutes good and what constitutes evil and the subsequent choice of the good. For the good makes for progress, and the evil retards progress, and the purpose of all mankind is progression and creation! Only by creating both good and evil can mankind judge the good and the road of progress!

Even as you have nerves in your fingers so that when you touch a hot stove the pain keeps you from burning your hand off, so the pain, physically, circumstantially, and emotionally of all evil is designed to keep you on the path of progress. God did not create the evil; He simply endowed you with the prime function to create, and He allowed you to create what you will. He endowed you with the instinct of survival and progress so that when you create something contrary to your good, the lesson should keep you from creating it again.
